Each of us ( and especially music addicts ) has a collection of CDs but they might get damaged because of scratches and dust over time. That's way it is recommended to back them up on your computer. Also, if you go on vacation and want to listen to your favorite songs o your iPod you must transfer the music from CDs to PC and, after, to your gadget.
These are the steps to follow in order to accomplish this task :
1. Start iTunes and insert your CD disc
2. Personalize the import preferences on iTunes
3. Click on File and select New Playlist. Add a name for the playlist
4. Choose the CD disc, select all the tracks and drag them to the playlist
iTunes will manage the process and will save the songs on your PC. That's all!
