BitCleaner easily removes internet history, unwanted files and any other personal information that your computer has stored. New Version 2 offers a Back-up to file option allowing you to Back-up frequently used information. BitCleaner uses a unique, highly intelligent method to remove this unwanted information without leaving a trace. BitCleaner completely removes files by using the Government Security Standard, meaning once the information is erased it is completely removed from the computer. BitCleaner also has a "Back-up" option that allows you to back up key files and restore them at a later time. You can also password protect the back up file, only allowing it to be restored with a password.

BitCleaner has an easy to use interface, which allows even the most novice user to navigate and perform its functions easily and quickly. BitCleaner also has a “Confirm Operations” option that gives a step-by-step walkthrough that allows the user to execute, skip or cancel each individual operation, an option unique to BitCleaner.
