Security is a very important issue for everybody and we have to be prepared all the time against "bad guys" hacking attempts. One of the most important issues in securing our systems ( rather that it is Linux or Windows )against brute force attacks is to have a very strong username and also a very hard to guess password.
Saying strong, we mean that the password has to be as complicated as possible. This includes a minimum 13-15 characters, but not only letters. Passwords have to include also number and special characters, all of them in random order. On the other hand, it is mandatory that the password IS NOT a regularly word, which you can find into a dictionary or is a common nickname used by a lot of people.
Therefore, in such cases, when you need to set the password for new or old accounts you can choose a specialized tool in generating such things like KeyGen. It does not need installation. Just download it, run it and you have it. |
