Editor's review for True Launch Bar
Anybody who has a Windows operating system is familiar with the Quick Launch bar, even if they are not sure of what it is. For those who have not heard the term before, this is the small area on the left of your screen in the taskbar that has shortcuts such as to your internet browser or media player.
However, there is a way to spice up your Quick Launch Bar so that it really provides you with all of the shortcuts that you want and need in order to make computer use very quick and efficient without cluttering your tool bar: the True Launch Bar.
The True Launch Bar created by Tordex is the software that helps you to make full use of quick launch by allowing you to create folders for your shortcuts instead of just simple shortcuts designed to take you to one program.
For instance, instead of being forced to create a shortcut to MS Word, MS Excell, and MS Powerpoint if these are programs that you need to open frequently, you can create a shortcut folder that sits in your taskbar. Upon clicking or scrolling over depending on how you choose to set your settings, a pop-up menu will appear with all three listed together so that you can click on into the program you need.
Not only does this make it easy to get to the programs that you need, but it allows you to minimize the amount of clutter on your desktop since it only takes one click and no arduous browsing through your menu to find the programs that you want.
Plus, since you get to choose your own folders, groupings, and shortcuts you can customize the True Launch Bar to meet your specific needs. As a result, your applications will launch in a few seconds instead of a few minutes of navigation followed by a long processing time.
If this is not quick enough for you, you can even change the flexible settings on the True Launch Bar that allows you set hotkeys to launch your applications straight from the True Launch Bar. Thus, one click of the keyboard and you are into whatever you need, and that is truly the fastest way out there to open your programs without a second thought.
In other words, the True Launch Bar software takes the definition of shortcut to an entirely new level.
