xrecode II is converter and audio-grabber which allows you to convert from MP3, MP2 ,WMA, CDA, OGG, FLAC, APE, CUE, AC3, WV, MPC, CUE ,TTA, TAK, WAV, DTS, M4A, M4B, MP4, RA, RM, AAC, AVI, MPG, VOB, MKV, FLV, SWF, MOV, OFR, WMV, DIVX, M4V, SPX, 3GP, 3G2, M2V, M4V, TS, M2TS, ADTS, SHN, XM, MOD, S3M, IT, MTM, UMX TO M4A, ALAC, APE, FLAC, MP3, MP4 (USING NEROAAC), OGG, RAW, WAV, WMA, WAVPACK, MPC, MP2, SPEEX, OFR, AC3 and shorten formats.

• FIX: fixed issue with id3v2 tags when, in very rare cases, 1st symbol of tags was missed when read.
• FIX: fixed issue when right-click menu was not working for Cover Art retrieval when Total item was selected.
• FIX: fixed issue when sometimes program was unable to create CUE/playlist.
• FIX: write FLAC tag names in uppercase (otherwise Soundforge 10 won't recognize them).
• FIX: fixed issue when "Move to Recycle..." was used together with "Multiple" (files were moved to Recycle Bin already after 1st conversion).
• FIX: fixed issue when "Move to Recycle..." was used together with "Merge" (not all files were moved to Recycle Bin).
• NEW: added feature to make the "Comment" field of Metadata permanent, i.e. you can save the value, so that it will be applied for all future tracks you will be transcoding. To do this, populate the "Comment" field and right-click the boxed "Comment:" text so that it becomes bold (which means it was stored). Right-click it again, to disable it.
• NEW: added support for Conductor Metadata tag.
• NEW: added support for Date Metadata tag.
• NEW: decoding of m4a/m4b/aac files will be handled by Window's Media Foundation codec (if available).
