This software is a freeware utility which can work on 64 and 32 bit systems. The program scans your latest mini-dump folder automatically. It shows the details including the time and date when the crash occurred. The display is on a blue screen which is like the one on which appeared on Windows at the time of the crash.
The utility catalogs the addresses of the memory inside the crash stack and includes all the modules as well as drivers which were associated with the crash. In the options for Advance operations, it allows working with Windows in another instance by choosing the relevant folder which is a min-dump one. It also auto locates the concerned drivers related to the crashes and wheedle out the derails regarding the resource version as to the name of the product, version of the file, and description of the file name of the company. The BlueScreenView is compatible with Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 only if while configuring Windows, it has been permitted to create and save mini-dump files whenever BSOD crash occurs.
There is no need for any process of installation for it or any additional file with .dll extension. All that needs be done is for the executable file, to be run. It does an auto scan of your folder for the mini-dump to enumerate in the upper pane complete details of all crashes. With BlueScreenView, it is possible for remote viewing and logging of details regarding crashes on multiple computers located on network by typing the name of the mini-dump folder by accessing the options in Advance by clicking Ctrl+O.
