Description of ActiveExit XP 3.22
Set automatic logoff for all network computers
ActiveExit can shutdown or restart the computer after the idle period you specify, without your intervention. And if no user has logged on to Windows for some time, ActiveExit can shut down or hibernate the computer automatically, to conserve the energy. You can use it to set up the screen savers for your computer and also specify actions to end the user's session after a period of inactivity. Unlike the standard screen saver configuration utility of Windows, ActiveExit allows you to specify not only the screen saver for a user, but also a different screen saver that should be displayed when no user is logged on to Windows.
You can specify not only the timeout interval that activates a screensaver, but also limit the running time of the screen saver and log off the user or even shut down the computer automatically after that.
Key features
• Select the timeout period for user inactivity, after which the user should be logged off from Windows, or the computer should be restarted, hibernated, or shut down (the choice is yours).
• Set up the allowed hours schedule and force the users out of the computer during the denied hours.
• Set up a program to run automatically before exiting Windows.
• Protect Windows exit with a password to prevent users from logging off or shutting down the computer unnecessarily.
• Save time and mouse clicks by configuring ActiveExit to display a taskbar icon for quick access to the logoff, shutdown, and other such commands.
• Customize messages displayed to the users, with or without the countdown bars that show the number of seconds remaining before the default action will be taken.
