Description of OkCustomMap 1.4.5
A tool to create Garmin custom maps
OkCustomMap is a software to produce Garmin Custom Maps. It supports many map formats like : OkMap, Ecw, GeoTiff, World files, OziExplorer, GpsTuner.
You can customize:
• The quality of the output JPEG images (0=Bad, 100=Good)
• The KML transparency (0=Transparent, 255=Opaque)
• The KML draw order (0=Invisible, 1-49=Under the vectorial data, 50-100=On the top)
• The image filter to be used in resizing functions
• The percentage of resizing of the images to generate
• The size (width and height) of the tiles you want generate or customize the tiles number horizontally or vertically
• The tiles you want to generate (using the right mouse button also)
The button Optimize automatically sets the best settings to generate the "Garmin Custom Maps". The output file format is kmz (Google Earth) compatible with Garmin Custom Maps.
