View electrical waveforms in COMTRADE files

.NET Relayer is the software you need to view electrical waveforms in COMTRADE files and to prototype and simulate relay algorithms. .NET Relayer was first developed in 2006 to complete the term project for the Georgia Tech Protective Relaying graduate course (ECE 6323).

Power systems protection relies on advanced algorithms that must be tested against a number of operating and fault conditions. The .NET Relayer software introduces a concept that facilitates the prototyping and testing of relay algorithms by allowing users to write analysis functions and test them on the fly against prerecorded COMTRADE waveforms. The software leverages the code generation capabilities of the .NET framework to integrate user algorithms in the testing process.

.NET Relayer is also suited for general waveform analysis. Relay algorithms and other signal processing methods that analyze and respond to pre-recorded voltage and current waveforms can be prototyped and tested. Users create their own analyzers or use the built-in analyzer samples for waveform analysis.
