A powerful fortune cookie program

Imagine starting the day with an extra good laughter when you log on to your computer. A software program that randomly replaces your customized email signatures every given minutes with a new funny cookie. A program that both has a nice dynamical graphical user interface, allows you to make your own fun, search for stuff and copy jokes to the clipboard. A program that helps you take those forgotten breaks every hour. A program, written for the purpose of making you happy and perhaps learn one or two witty quotes. A program with one of the world's largest collections of unique textual pieces of fun for you.

A cookie does not have anything to do with cookies in your web browser. The SmartBee cookies are simply analogous to the Chinese cookies you get after dining out in a Chinese restaurant (a joke on a small piece of paper inside a taaasty cookie!).

SmartBee gives you all and more of the "program outline" given in the beginning of this page.

SmartBee contains more than one hundred thousands different cookies. Everything from Murphy's laws, Devil's Dictionary, myths, jokes, computer mimics, facts, stories, Hacker Jargon File, Deep Thoughts and not to forget - quotes from famous people.

SmartBee can remind you to take a break for stretching after hard work. It is customizable. You can extract the supplied cookie file and make your own cookies. You can create your own skin to make a new appearance of the application. Furthermore, SmartBee can automatically create email signatures for most email programs. Search for cookies to find appropriate ones for your essay or handin.

The cookie engine can access a SmartBee cookie server remotely. You can even make e.g. screen savers using a very simple API. Examples included.
